how-to unload & load your film
Putting the film inside your camera might seem intimidating, because at first glance it doesn't make sense. You have to load small circular roll of film and expect it to work. The first time I imported film into my camera, I messed it up and when I sent it in to be developed the roll was blank. I had wasted the entire thing. I was heartbroken, but if you pay attention to these steps hopefully that won't happen to you.
Keep in mind it will be difficult for the first couple of times, but you'll eventually get the hang of it.
Also these steps are for removing a previously shot roll, and also importing a new one.
UNLOADING A ROLL
1. Press the small black "Rewind Release Button" located on the bottom of the camera.
2. While continuously pressing the "Rewind Release Button" grab the "Film Rewind Lever" and begin to twist it. Inside the camera you will hear the sound of film retreating back into its case. If you're doing it correctly you should feel a slight tug.
3. Continue to twist the "Film Rewind Lever" until you feel a snap and you're certain that the film is secure.
4. Lift the "Film Rewind Lever" until the back of the camera pops and you can see inside.
5. Open the back of the camera and you should see the little tube that your film is wrapped neatly inside of.
6. Remove the film roll and close the back of the camera.
7. Store the roll somewhere safe until you're ready for developing.
LOADING A ROLL
1. Open the back of the camera and lift the "Film Rewind Lever" & "Camera Back Release."
2. Place the small film roll in the "Film Compartment" and stretch the film over to the "Film Take-Up Reel."
3. Make sure the film is positioned securely in the small groove of the "Film Take-Up Reel."
4. Close the back of the camera.
5. Quickly pull on the "Film Advance Lever" and click the "Shutter Button." Imagine you're taking a photo. But if you notice on the dial you haven't reached ONE photo yet.
6. Continue Step 5 until the dial says you have reached ONE photo.
7. Now you're ready to go shoot again!
